Matt joined Boston following its acquisition of Aqua and is an experienced Compliance and Financial Crime professional. He currently holds the Key Person roles of Compliance Officer (CO), Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO), and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for the Jersey business.
In his role, Matt is responsible for leading Boston’s compliance and financial crime prevention framework, overseeing regulatory compliance, AML/CFT governance, risk management, regulatory engagement, and the ongoing development of Boston’s control environment.
Prior to joining Boston, Matt held senior compliance positions within several leading Jersey based trust and fund administration businesses, where he gained extensive experience in financial crime prevention, regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring, and AML/CFT frameworks.
Matt is a Certified Money Laundering Reporting Officer and holds the International Compliance Association Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his fiancée, family and friends. In his free time, he enjoys playing darts, DJing, socialising, travelling and skiing.
