As part of our latest blog series, Introducing Boston’s New Talent, we’re spotlighting the experiences of our newer team members as they navigate their first steps at Boston Multi Family Office.  Through this series, we’ll introduce you to the people behind the titles and share their unique perspectives on joining the business, adapting to new roles, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way.

Today, we’re pleased to introduce one of our Senior Trust Administrator’s, Carly Craig.

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I have over 15 years’ experience working in the Corporate Services Industry, managing Trust and Company structures. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, cycling, running and taking part in Triathlon events. I completed my first Ironman in Estonia in August 2024 and this year I represented the Isle of Man in the Island Games for triathlon. Looking ahead, I’m excited for 2026, where I’ve set myself the goal of completing my second full Ironman. In the lead-up to my A race in October, I’ll also be competing in both a Half Ironman and a Standard Distance triathlon.

What is your current role at Boston and when did you start?

I am a Senior Trust Administrator and started at Boston in April 2025.

What attracted you to Boston?

I was really drawn to the flexible working, so that I could fit my family life and training around my working hours. I also heard it was a great team who work hard and also have fun.

What were your first impressions when you started at Boston?

I was amazed by how welcoming and approachable everyone is.

How would you describe the team/company’s culture so far?

The culture at Boston feels very collaborative and forward-thinking. Everyone is focused on delivering great results but also looks out for each other — there’s a real team spirit.

What is something new you have learnt since starting at Boston?

Since joining Boston, I have been learning their internal systems which are new to me, which I’ve found to be very easy to pick up, and I’ve found them to be very efficient.

What makes Boston different to previous companies you may have worked for?

Boston stands out because of its genuine focus on work-life balance. They’re incredibly understanding and supportive, which creates a relaxed and positive work environment. There’s a real sense of care for the staff—it feels more like being part of a close-knit family than just a workplace.

What advice would you give to someone else starting their first day at Boston?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions because everyone is happy to help, and make sure you go on social events so you can build relationships outside of work hours.
