Meet Our Director Kristianne Fenech

I started my career with one of the top five audit firms as an accounts executive, where I had a portfolio of accounting clients.

Please can you give us an overview of your career.

Well, I have been working for licenced entities since I started my career nearly seventeen years ago. I have since then obtained a number of qualifications. I started my career with one of the top five audit firms as an accounts executive, where I had a portfolio of accounting clients.

After a few years, I moved to a fund institution for one year after which I realised that working in such an industry was not really for me. I then decided to move to a Trust and CSP licenced firm and in 2015 I joined Boston Trust Limited.

Where is the most interesting place you have travelled to for work and why?

Portugal. It was my first business trip, and by default I would say very memorable. The different culture, the cobble stone pavements, the vino vert only added to Portugal’s charm.

What’s the one gadget you couldn’t live without?

I am not really a gadget person, but if I had to choose, I would say my phone as it keeps me connected.

What’s the best thing about your job?

We live in a world where constant legislative changes are the norm. The best thing about my job is the challenge of staying ahead of the curve. My job is very dynamic, hence, one is never at risk of getting bored, as one task is never the same as the next.

What was the last TV series you watched?

Ozark.

Tell us something that might surprise us about you?

I love travelling and experiencing different cultures, more specifically different food cultures. I don’t think I can put myself in a box as, according to the important people in my life, I give a whole new definition to the word contradiction. I love to read and stay at home, but then I love to dive and try new things like sky diving, paragliding and so on.

What’s your motto or personal mantra?

Ones fear is the one true limitation. We only get one chance in life, so make it matter.

What are you most proud of?

My large family. I am most fortunate to have their unconditional support in all facets of my life.
