Boston Multi Family Office’s acquisition of IQE Limited has been completed following approval by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority.

In general terms, a Private Trust Company (“PTC”) is a special purpose vehicle established to act as trustee of a family trust or several related trusts. The board of directors of the PTC controls it and as such can direct the fiduciary function of trustee.

Trusts are extremely popular for succession planning and wealth preservation and this is for good reason given the various advantages they offer, several of which are outlined below.
